As you are already aware… the digital age continues to expand our paradigm – changing the way we interact and retrieve information – in essence, putting the world in our back pocket or satchel. In this light, I have been trying to find ways in which to better serve the readers of this blog (my mother). With that said, today, I am excited to announce the availability of TentLife and Theological Musings (this blog) on the Amazon Kindle (click pictures below to link to Amazon Kindle Store).

I’ve been using a Kindle Reader for a little over 2 months and have nothing but good things to say about the device, even though it took a few weeks to get used to. Mainly, I was wrestling with how to take notes and reference the quotes that I use for my writing and musings (I’m also an avid margin scribbler in books I read). The solution: I now carry a thin moleskin that I collect my thoughts and memorable quotes in, and I also take advantage of the highlight feature, which saves the clippings in a separate folder on the Kindle home screen. As far as readability, it is just like a book, in the sense that it doesn’t have a back-lit screen, so having a lamp on is a must while reading in bed. There are a few things that bother me… Specifically, accessing the table of contents and the general maneuverability within the book. But, these are minor issues compared with the ease of use in all other areas, it even has an MP3 player and a very cool dictionary feature. Ok, enough with the blurb… below are a couple views of blog posts on the Kindle.
