If you’ve been around me for at least 10 minutes, you probably know my dream is to one day publish a book. Not just any ‘ol book, but one that effects change in people’s lives, one that leaves a legacy. Not in some vain, self-promoting way – rather in a way that inspires people to live a life outside of themselves.
I have been accepted into a opportunity to pursue this dream with a collection of creatives, through Ben Arment’s Dream Year program. I have a couple more days to accept this opportunity, but as you may or may not know, I am still jobless… and I lack the funds to pay for this programs cost.
The costs are rather small – $200 deposit and $100 a month from January 2010 – December 2010, for a total investment of $1,400. But as of right now, I am lacking the funds to jump in on this opportunity, and am humbly asking my readers and friends for a helping hand. I don’t ask this lightly, as I know times are tough and budgets are tight, but if you have been blessed by any of my musings on this site and want to invest in my growth as a writer, here is a great opportunity.
