OU FCA
This evening I’m going to The University of Oklahoma to speak at their FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), it should be real fun as I am going to try some interactive discussion and a couple of visuals to stimulate some thoughts on Jesus and his words in John 13:34-36:
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
I will get to his words rather circumnavigationally, by first asking a series of questions that will hopefully move the group into some ‘different’ thinking’ (or really any ‘thinking’ to be honest)…
Does a Human clone have a soul?
and after the discussion and/or debate we will look at our perspective of Truth and if we possibly could be off by an iota or two. I intend to talk about our T.R.E.E. and do an exercise in the “foundations of truth.” It is going to be fun to be back in Norman, strolling around such a beautiful campus and interacting with students again!
I am also going to be checking out a friend’s art exhibit at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, she did a mixed media piece that seems really intriguing, with a lot of symbolism… here is a picture of Emily Curly and the piece in question!!!
